This property was located within the FEMA-designated 100-year floodplain, and therefore, in order to accommodate a proposed remodel and expansion of the residence, it was necessary to complete a LOMA to remove a portion of the property from the floodplain. We were able to successfully remove portions of the property from the FEMA designated floodplain in order to allow for the addition to be constructed. To accomplish this, we completed the application, prepared exhibits to support the application request and provided continued coordination with local and federal agencies to ensure that the process was ultimately successful and completed in a timely manner.
